Current Resource Consent Applications
Tasman District Council publishes full Resource Consent notices in the Nelson Mail and the council website.
Abridged versions appear where appropriate in the Waimea Weekly, the GB Weekly and the Motueka Guardian, as well as in Newsline the Mag. This page displays current Resource Consent applications.


The Council has received applications for resource consent as detailed below. The applications include an assessment of environmental effects. The applications and supporting information may be examined Tasman District Council Offices in Richmond, Motueka, Golden Bay and Murchison during normal office hours.

Any person may make a submission on the application in accordance with Section 96 of the Resource Management Act 1991. The submission must be in the prescribed form (Form 13) and copies of this form are available from Council offices and as a downloadable PDF from the link below.

The submission form should be addressed to the Council’s Resource Consent Administration Officer and may be either:
  1. hand delivered to any of the Council offices
  2. mailed to Private Bag 4, Richmond 7031
  3. faxed to the Council on (03) 543 9524; or
  4. emailed to the Council at info@tdc.govt.nz

Land Use Consent
 
Applicant: Naked Possum Limited
Location: West side Kaituna River, opposite 190 Carter Road, Aorere
Legal Description: Section 6 Block III Aorere Survey District

Consent Type, Application Number and Proposal: Land Use Consent (Application RM090499)

To establish and operate a helipad to provide a helicopter service for guests from Nelson, and for scenic flights in the local area and transfers to various locations, including the Kaituna and Heaphy Tracks and other local destinations for the general public.

Subdivision and Land Use Consent
 
Applicant: M P & RME Stephens
Location: 156 Aranui Road, being on the Mapua coastline
Legal Description: Lot 2 DP 10904, Lot 1 DP 313820, Lot 2 DP 11197, Lot 4 DP 313820, Lot 13 DP 336741 (Access Allotment)

Consent Type, Application Number and Proposal:

Subdivision Consent (Application RM090634)
To subdivide a 6.9843 hectare title (CT 150820) to create proposed Lot 1 of 2.19 hectares, Lot 2 of 2.48 hectares (containing an existing dwelling), Lot 3 of 2.12 hectares, Lot 4 of 1790 square metres to vest in the Crown as seabed; and Lot 5 of 800 square metres being a 2 metre wide strip addition to the accessway. This application also seeks to have the number of users on the accessway increased from six to eight.
An esplanade strip is proposed along the line of Mean High Water Springs with its inland boundary aligned to the inland top bank of the existing seawall.

Land Use Consent (Application RM090635)
To construct a residential dwelling on proposed Lots 1 and 3 of the subdivision described above (Application RM090634).
The land is Rural 1 zoning according to the Tasman Resource Management Plan.
