Opportunities for Ecological Restoration in the Takaka Catchment
This Report describes the ecological characteristics of the different areas within the Takaka catchment and identifies priorities for restoration.
The report was commissioned by the Tasman Environmental Trust (TET) to provide a strategic view of opportunities for the Trust who are responsible for administering the Cobb Mitigation Fund, for the panel that consider the applications and provide recommendations to the Trust, and for the applicants who prepare the applications and undertake the important work of ecological restoration.

Remediation of the former Fruitgrowers Chemical Company Site in Mapua Progress on the Mapua FCC site
The environmental Site Audit Report was released by the Ministry for the Environment at the end of July, and the Audit concludes that the remediated Fruitgrowers Chemical Company site at Mapua is fit for the intended future land uses, and recommends some additional monitoring.
