Dellside Reserve - wilderness on the doorstep

Clifton Recreation Reserve - a special spot in the Bay

The Clifton Recreation Reserve covers an impressive 45 hectares on a low- lying spit across the Motupipi Estuary, west of Pohara in Golden Bay. Relaxing at the Motueka Beachside Reserves

What is a motor camp when it’s not a motor camp anymore? A great place to hang out, close to the sea for family fun, picnics and recreation. The Motueka Beach Reserve, at the end of Wharf Road, was used as a motor camp up until 1999 when it became a recreation reserve. This prime site at Port Motueka runs right up to North Street Reserve, which in turn links to the Trewavas Street Foreshore reserve. More...

Wakefield Recreation Reserve

Right in the midst of the thriving Wakefield community is a spot where everyone comes to play. The Wakefield Recreation Reserve is tucked away behind a stand of beautiful trees just off the main road. These trees help to give the area a special flavour, with a totara, cedar and redwood each listed as notable trees by the Royal New Zealand Institute of Horticulture.
