Tasman District Council Survey
Tasman District Council Residents Survey starts today

23 July 2009

Tasman District Council’s annual residents survey starts today. The survey is to determine residents levels of satisfaction with Council services and facilities.

“The information from the survey gives us valuable information which helps us with our decision making. We want to hear your views, so if you get called please take the time to answer the questions” said Mayor Richard Kempthorne.

The National Research Bureau, an independent market research company, has been commissioned to undertake the survey and report to the Council. The company runs similar surveys for a number of councils throughout New Zealand.

People living throughout the District will be telephoned, using a random selection method, and asked their opinions on a wide range of issues pertaining to the Council and the services it delivers to the residents of the District.

Interviewing for the survey begins on Friday 24 July 2009, and is expected to be completed on Sunday 2 August 2009.

The results from the survey will be made available through Newsline and Council’s website – www.tasman.govt.nz
